Seventy-first video. As the title implies, this short theme plays whenever Link is inside a person's house in the game Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Many thanks to Friedfischer for recording this piece!
One of my favorite occurrences of house music in any game, this short theme plays primarily in the only two villages in Link's Awakening: Mabe and Animal. Though not as common or advanced as other themes in this game, for me, this is the one that brings back the most nostalgia.
There are many complicated MPC arrangements out there with wicked fast tempos, custom soundsets, and advanced instrumentation that deserve your utmost respect, but this is not one of them. Using the original soundset, a low tempo of 452, and a single text file, this piece is somewhat of a return to basics. Like hearing this theme reminds me of the nostalgia of playing Link's Awakening, so does arranging this theme remind me of the nostalgia of when I first started with Mario Paint Composer. Same old game, same old composer, same old tricks. Enjoy!
