The Spy might be Mr. Newell's favourite class but it sure as hell ain't mine. The mindset of proficient Spy players is akin to a troll: it relies on psychology, prediction & baiting the enemy so they do what you want them to do. It's done differently than a DM class in terms of the mindset. Spies know a backstab based on loose hitbox mechanics will piss off people, or when they've caused enough havoc with rage Pyros or Medics turning around often. This power trip is what fuels players' desire to play Spy, even if you'd rather not. The amount of havoc you can wreak, the salt of the enemy team, will bait you into continuing to ride that power trip.

Respect to Stabby & the Spy Mains btw. There's some things or two I learned about clicking then throwing my mouse to the back of my room to counter the stairstab. Shoutout to Froggoid for teaching me map routes, strafe & snap, and what classes are good to disguise at. That being said my inner Medic - guaranteed victims of knives up their butt - does not approve.

"How Do I eSports?" is the dumbest concept album about two TF2 players facing a grave dilemma of utmost seriousness: OW is out, but despite matchmaking, this obviously means TF2’s dead as shit. To fight against this dramatic threat, a plan was devised to revive the hat simulator and its original purpose. The plan? Make more TF2 parody pop cover songs - because more garbage parody covers of popular songs for video games is what indicates a game is eSports. (Yeah, it’s exactly as big of a mistake as it sounds.)
