So this is the first of two videos that're a bit different from what I usually upload. I've done irl videos in the past but they're not often and never with my voice included

But as the title states, I recently purchased a 2021 Hyundai Veloster N, so I wanted to do a video for it of course, but at the same time I wanted to talk about my previous two Velosters, because a lot has happened since I last did a video on any of my cars

This video looks at all three cars, and the bulk of it really focuses on the 2016 Turbo, as that's the car I had for the longest time and did the most to thus far. The second video will focus exclusively on the N

So I've owned three Hyundai Velosters now, the first one was a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, 6-speed automatic. It was my first car ever, I bought it with about 64,000 miles on it and was the 4th or 5th owner I think? That car needed work done to it, and I was committed to getting the work done, but ultimately I wouldn't get the opportunity because I had to return the car. The person who sold me the car did not have the title for it, and after three months of him trying to get that title, he just asked that I return the car, and paid off my loan for me

My second car, though I like to consider it my true first car, was a 2016 Veloster Turbo, 7-speed DCT. I bought it with 38,000 miles on it, traded it in with 56,000 miles, and I was the second owner. The first owner left it bone stock, so everything that was done to it was done by me. I've had a lot of ups and downs with this car, but ultimately it's an experience I wouldn't trade for anything

My third and current car is a 2021 Veloster N with the 8-speed DCT. I told myself that there are too many cars that I am interested in to end up in yet another Veloster, so I honestly didn't want the N a few months ago. But ultimately it ended up having the cheapest insurance, and the price of a new one is cheaper than most used STI's or Golf R's in my area. That's ultimately what sold me on the N, there just is not anything else on the market that offers everything that the N does, at its price point

Now my N is pre-owned, the previous owner bought it in March of this year, put 6,000 miles on it, did a bunch of mods to it, then traded it back in. I desperately wanted an N in red, as it's apparently a rare color for the N and I had a red Turbo of course, so I jumped on this one as soon as it was listed. And it's almost as if the previous owner and I were on the same wavelength because the mods he did to this N mirror almost exactly what I wanted to do to the car
