When it comes to weird golden age superheroes, I can always find something good in the pages of Weird Comics by Fox Features Syndicate. This time, I take a look at The Dart, an ancient Roman warrior who is mystically transported to the modern day and continues to fight crime with the help of an adopted orphan named Ace. The artwork is often rough, the villains are never very interesting. But what makes the Dart extra special is that his love interest, Miss Tilbury, ends almost every issue with a withering diss against the Dart's secret identity, teacher Mr. Wheeler.
