Eyelid hygeine can sometimes be the key in controlling dry eye symptoms and blepharitis. Finding the right eyelid wipe or cleanser can be challenging. As a general rule, try preservative free eyelid wipes first. They are usually ok to use twice a day, but can sometimes be too abrasive for the eyelid, and may only need to use them once a day. If you know if you have demodex, eyelid scrubs with tea tree oil or manuka honey can help. In this video, we review some of the top brands with eyelid wipes.
