For years, I've heard whispers about a forgotten railroad, a relic of a bygone era, swallowed by time and nature. A railroad that supposedly claws its way up to the summit of this very mountain... Today, we're not just listening to whispers... we're following this ghostly trail. This isn't just a hike; it's an exploration into the past. I am going to follow this abandoned railroad track right to the top of the mountain and document everything along the way. I’ve seen and heard some interesting things about this place but am mostly curious about what I may find hidden at the top. There's a certain eeriness about this place. It's quiet, secluded, and you can almost feel the echoes of the past.
I can almost hear the train coming as I walk. I wonder how many others have walked these tracks. Today we are paying particular attention to detail the details regarding a great train robbery, to note the bandits were never caught.
However, there are stories and secrets amongst the mountains and the abandoned tracks we have discovered with google earth. I have paid close attention to the clues and surrounding landscape in particular one mountain peak stands out with echos of the past. Carvings and etchings exist to this day in the remote corners of wilderness over a century old. What this remote mountain top oasis once a hideout for the robbers is the weathered structure on top an outlaw's hideout? Did they use this site to evade justice and lay low before it was time to move on to the next train while stashing the gold and currency in the hollow hole, I discovered on the cliff wall?
