I finally joined an alpine flight above the best places of Switzerland. Starting in Hausen am Albis, Captain Raffael Canoso showed me through the best of the Swiss Alps. We flew first to Zug, Mount Rigi, Luzern and then Pilatus. Then after Lungern, we left central Switzerland and entered the Bernese Alps of the Oberland. Passing by Lake Brienz and the famous Swiss Village of Iseltwald we proceeded to Interlaken and then to the magical Lauterbrunnen Valley. The Lauterbrunnen valley looks very impressive from a high altitude and some of the 72 waterfalls are indeed better visible. We then left Lauterbrunnen and were flying towards Grindelwald by passing the famous Mountains of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The flight continued towards Rosenlaui and then Engelberg. The tallest peaks of the Swiss Alps during this flight were only in the Bernese Oberland and at Engelberg with Mount Titlis. The Valdecott Aviation flight continued back to central Switzerland to Schwyz to pass between the Grosser and Kleiner Mythen, which was a bit shaky due to the air stream. I even was allowed to fly myself for 2 minutes above Schwyz! Then we made a large circle at the town of Einsiedeln that is famous for its monastery. The last part of the flight was above Lake Zürich and the city of Zürich. Then we again landed in Hausen am Albis. The take off and landing were very smooth.
