✨ Some more tidbits ✨
Fermenting is one of my favorite ways to preserve many foods because it actually ADDS nutrients. (Did you know canning food can take away up to 50% of it's nutrients?)
But whenever I show my fermented foods I get sooo many questions, so I'll answer a few of the biggies here.
1. How do you use it!?
Honestly, the same way I'd use the fresh fruit. Drop a comment and I'll send you my long list of ways I'll use these blueberries I just fermented.
2. What is that spring?
The spring and lid are an ingenious fermenting kit that work with a mason jar to make the process brilliantly easy.
3. Is that spring METAL? That will leech in your ferment!
Nope, NEVER use metal in fermented foods or drinks because they will corrode the metal into your food--ick. This spring is a high-guage stainless steel that will never corrode.
Because your gut will thank you, you'll feel so much better after adding a serving of fermented foods to your day, and you'll even fight off colds in the months ahead!
