The fifth avenue in Playa del Carmen is full of these places! I don't understand why this happens!

I've been around fifth avenue in Playa del Carmen and I found so many places in just one street. Then I remembered that this is very common in other touristy places with beaches around Mexico too. Do you know why? Have you travelled to Mexico and seen these places too?
