STORYLINE BELOW
I promised myself I wouldn't do YET ANOTHER video to a song by Sleeping At Last but I just love this song so much and as soon as I heard it I thought it was perfect for Jim. This video actually took less time than i thought it would which was nice but I was a bit lazy with the masking so some parts do look a bit weird. BUT OH WELL! I'm pretty proud of this anyway. Sarah kinda looks like Ariel but with Jane's hair so I just went for Ariel for her younger self, and I think Dimitri is probably what older Jim would look like so I went with him for the father. Baby Jim is played by baby Tarzan just because I think it's adorable and kinda works! And of course I had to put a little Jimderella in there, I'm so obsessed with that ship!
STORYLINE:
Jim's father (played by Dimitri) and Sarah (played by Ariel when younger) have a child together, Jim (played by baby Tarzan). However, when Jim gets older his dad becomes distant, stressed and overworked and ends up leaving Sarah and Jim as he can't deal with the pressure of fatherhood (as he became a father so young) and wants to travel. This gives Jim serious trust issues as he doesn't know how to love anyone as his parents fell apart, so he assumes that when he's older he'll end up leaving his partner like his dad did. He begins to act out, getting arrested and distressing his young mother. Jim discovers the map for Treasure planet and joins the ship, where he meets heartbroken Cinderella, who has been hurt by her ex (who is probably Charming). They grow closer and he falls for her, but every time he tries to tell her he chickens out as he thinks she deserves better than him as he doesn't know how to love her and thinks he'll leave her like his dad left him and his mum. He decides to leave rather than to face his feelings and keep on disappointing his mother, leaving Cinderella heartbroken once more. However, after a lot of thinking and reminiscing, he realises that history doesn't necessarily have to repeat himself and he doesn't have to leave, so comes back and admits his feelings for Cinderella and reunites with his mother. Then there's just a celebratory dance and a poorly made Jimderella kiss by me! (yeah... still haven't mastered photoshop yet)
