Today I spent the entire day working on a new skirt design.
Every time I work on a larger project, doubts show up. Is it just me, or does this happen to you too?
With this skirt, I think the yarn plays a big role. It’s a linen blend I’ve used before — a little uneven, with texture that makes the tension look inconsistent. I know that’s part of its character, but if you’re a perfectionist like me, it can feel like a love–hate relationship.
And yet… while working on this skirt and the top I recently finished, I started to appreciate that natural, imperfect look. Maybe that’s the beauty of it.
I can’t wait to see how it all comes together in the end 🤍
