"I Can't Wait Till Summer Comes" was not a new track when it came to Martha Reeves recording the song in early 1970. The year before the Marvelettes were the first to record the song with different lyrics; however their version remained unreleased until 2011. Motown songwriter & producer Johnny Bristol decided to cut the song for the Supremes and then again for the Vandellas and the results were single worthy. Unfortunately the Vandellas' version did not see a release until 2013.
