I decided to cover I can by Nas by giving it a vocal melody. This was requested by Urban Explorer. Storywise I decided to take the original motivational aspect of the song but still adding a dark touch. In this cover, a people pleaser did everything she was told to do to reach someone elses dream but she got in a downwards spiral because of the fame. The ones she wanted to please don't care anymore and won't help her back up.
Core message: if everyone would be gone tomorrow, and you'd be stuck doing what you're working for now, are you pleasing yourself or are you chasing a dream that isn't yours and won't bring you hapiness?
