There is a lot of confusion around toilet waste and general rubbish in van life, and honestly, I’ve been confused too.
So instead of guessing or relying on forums, I decided to ring the council and try to get some clarity directly.
This video is not legal advice. It is simply my real experience of trying to get answers, what happened during the call, and where things stand right now.
Alongside that, this is a slow January van life vlog. Fixing leaks, rainy days, making jewellery for the shop, walking the dogs, and finding my feet again after the new year.
January can come with a lot of pressure to have everything figured out. This is your reminder that if you feel behind or late starting, you are not. You are allowed to take time to realign, breathe, and move at your own pace.
I emailed the council and I am still waiting on a response. As soon as I get clear answers in writing, I will make a dedicated follow-up video.
