Today I use Create Mod and Valkyrien Skies to build a working helicopter in Minecraft. The design is based off of the UH-60 Black Hawk and is fully functional without using Computer Craft. The heli features on-board power generation, a stabilization system, lots of troop space, and door mounted turrets. It has also be made to hover in place.
