Thanks to some new mechanics from Create: Aeronautics and some new mods, it's possible to build more realistic artillery pieces now affected by recoil compensated for with springs and bracing.

Today, I learn how to try trick MInecolonies colonists from my colonies into using a working mineshaft elevator built with Create mod. The elevator transports them to and from their jobsite. Also expand the colony with more houses and a restaurant.
