I decided to make myself a backpack.

It is made of 15 oz. canvas and each piece is quilted to the red liner with 105 Tex black thread. I learned tons on this project and made just as many mistakes but it all worked out in the end.

I thought black oblong diamond quilting lines would be cool looking and I am very happy with the overall look now that it is done. This should last a while and it is perhaps big enough for overnight trips.
