I wanted to understand what everyday hidden cameras actually look like once they are connected to a real home Wi-Fi network and how they appear inside a router’s connected devices list.

I tested two common types of hidden cameras that are widely available online
• A USB charger with a built-in hidden Wi-Fi camera
• A fake smoke detector with a hidden Wi-Fi camera
I walk through how these devices appeared on my home network, how they were labeled, how I identified them, and how blocking them immediately stopped video streaming.
I am not a cybersecurity expert, but I do have two degrees in electrical engineering, which means I understand how this technology works under the hood. This video is about awareness, visibility, and control over the network you already own.
