In this tutorial, we’ll make a custom 3D printed Instagram badge with a scannable QR code. We’ve all been there—you’re at a networking event or a conference, and someone wants to follow you, but searching for your handle leads to typos and a list of similar profiles.
This project solves that problem entirely. Your new followers can simply scan the QR code on your badge, backpack, or camera bag and be taken directly to your profile. No typing required, and no risk of them following the wrong account.
I’m leveraging my Bambu Lab P1S with the AMS (Automatic Material System) to create a crisp, multi-color finish that looks professional and stands out. Whether you’re a woman in STEM, a tech enthusiast, or a business owner looking to grow your reach, this is a perfect weekend project that adds real value to your professional gear.
