Watch a full tutorial as a 2022 Hyundai Kona will have a brand set of Alpine Type S 6.5" coaxial speakers installed in the front door location for a much better audio quality experience.

This video applies to Hyundai Kona models for years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. This video also includes door trim and speaker removal, wiring, installation, and testing.

NOTE: This vehicle was NOT equipped with the Harman Kardon (HK) audio system. If you have HK, and are RETAINING the factory HK amplifier, you will need a 2 ohm speaker in the front door. If bypassing or replacing the factory amp, any 6.5" 4 ohm speaker will work fine.
