Remaking the video for ZSR

1. Walk towards the black by the pillar
2. With sword out, jumpslash at the edge of the pillar
3. Skip the cutscene immediately
4. Hold right to walk out of the barrier, then proceed normally

If you skip the cutscene too late, Link will walk into the barrier and the fight will start. The best recovery is to Savewarp and try again.
