One more "beginner" tier that I completed a few days ago. It's pretty funny to me that this is the second level I beat from the Sonic series- I beat Supersonic as a hardest all the way back in 2018. UltraSonic and SubSonic are both levels I attempted to beat as a hardest, but gave up before getting close to beating them. This level on the other hand was the one I never once thought about playing until this point. Despite that, it screams nostalgia to me, as it embodies everything early 2.1 levels were like, which I love about it. It's very janky, inconsistent, weird, and is very out of place for the level series it's part of, but that makes it more memorable to me. That does also mean it's far from perfect, but I enjoyed most of my time with it. Probably my biggest issue if anything was just how much harder I found it than anticipated, as doing drop-100% took me about the same playtime and attempts that a normal beginner tier level would take me. The predrop is easier, but still gave me some trouble during the learning process and for a short time from 0% as well. It's clear to me why it's such a popular choice for a first extreme or among a first extreme for people, and I would back that idea anyway, but on a personal level, it felt quite a bit harder than that.
