I am a big fan of timelapses, hyperlapses, sunrises and aerial quadcopter video so wanted to try to combine these.
I actually got up early to get some still photos of sunrise from the air, but once I started flying I started playing with waypoints in DJI Go app to fly very slow (0.4mph) paths to then make a hyperlapse test from.
Hyperlapse is just timelapse taken with a moving camera position, normally stepping/tripod but in this case in the air.
It actually works really well, this is two 4x passes in HMS13 with sony stabilize, there is not a lot of foreground movement but if you look for it you can see the effect and I think it would look even amazing with a 'busier' scene, and its very easy to do/assemble.
