Hygiea is the smallest object that is confirmed to be a dwarf planet, and it is near the limit of how small dwarf planets can get, and yet despite this impressive characteristic it is not well known. This video examines this obscure object and puts its characteristics in context by comparing it to three other largest asteroid belt objects, that is Ceres, Vesta and Pallas.
