The harsh conditions of Venus' surface are by this point well known, but those surface conditions aren't exactly the same throughout the entirety of the planet, there are obscure regions that stand tall compared to most of the surface and they have different atmospheric conditions. Those elevated regions also very much resemble the continents of Earth in a few ways, especially Ishtar Terra and Aphrodite Terra, although one crucial difference is that they aren't on tectonic plates. In this video I take a look at what is currently known about the obscure pseudo continents of Venus.
