I've been growing a lot of leafy greens in the hydroponic setups. And some folks were wondering what else could be grown. Specifically... could you grow cabbage in a hydroponic setup, using either the Kratky method or the floating rafts? The answer is, yes you can. But if you're gonna do it in a tote or container, it needs to be about 10 gallons for each plant. Even though I had a less than ideal container, the cabbage still turned out great.
In the floating raft setup, the cabbage did a little bit better. I would definitely like to have a lot more hydroponic cabbage. Also, just for comparison, I'll show you a cabbage that was growing in ground. It was amazing, an absolutely perfect plant.
