On September 18, Hurricane Fiona made landfall in Puerto Rico, knocking out power to millions and causing catastrophic flooding. Since landing in Puerto Rico, Fiona has continued to move up the Atlantic Coast, currently on its way to bring extreme, historic weather to regions of Canada. Team Rubicon has activated to determine unmet needs in Puerto Rico, and is working with Team Rubicon Canada as well as local Canadian community leaders to determine a response plan to assist residents impacted by Fiona.
Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
