“I grew up here... It got ruined badly. It’s a little sad but I’m just grateful for all the people helping us today.”

Ten-year-old Shalene is on the ground working alongside our Greyshirts, helping to clean her grandparents’ house that was damaged in the recent San Diego flooding. Her grandparents lived in the house for over 20 years. Greyshirts are helping Shalene’s family and the community clean up and recover from the disaster as they navigate the emotional tolls of lost personal belongings.
