The Hunter Class Frigate Program is making further progress with another half prototype block rotation at the Osborne Shipyard in South Australia.

This time, the Production Design team designed a new 190 tonne swivel beam for the rotation, with a modified tailing beam also used.

The recently constructed prototype blocks are based on the UK’s Type 26 ship design and from May 2023 the Hunter team will begin building prototype blocks based on the Hunter frigate design.
