A humanoid robot just jumped nearly 3 meters!

At the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games, a humanoid robot crouched down, launched into the air and reached an impressive 2.8843 meters in the high jump, even striking a full split mid-air.

For comparison, the men's human standing high-jump record is 2.45 meters. The robot's performance marks another striking demonstration of the rapidly advancing capabilities of humanoid robotics.
