Shore Acres State Park is easily the best storm watching spot on the Oregon Coast and may just be one of the best spots in the world! The HUGE waves and resulting spectacular towering fountains of water (300'+) can be seen both north & south from many spots within the park. And, if you are lucky, you may get a glimpse of King Neptune or Poseidon, @1:20 in the video. Watching the waves crash in can be mesmerizing! If this sort of stuff is your cup of tea, 11 minutes is not enough! If you feel that all the waves look the same, skip to 8:00 in the video and watch from there.
