Thunder Rock Cove is a small cove sheltered by sheer cliffs complete with a natural arch. The trail to a viewpoint is short 3/4 mile with little elevation gain. Due to the geology of the area, on a large wave day a thundering sound can often be heard as waves crash into the cove.
