Everyday Cinematic Birds | Huge Mouths! Robin Nest Day 7 4K Highlights @EverydayCinematicBirds | Uploaded September 2021 | Updated October 2024, 5 hours ago.
The Robin chicks are rapidly growing! At this stage their mouths are disproportionally large compared to their bodies. This is so they can consume larger meals brought by their parents. They need to eat a lot in order to grow enough to be ready to fledge. The baby Robin chicks chirping and squeaking is also getting noticeably louder. They really extend their necks to try and compete for food that is brought to the nest. They are getting much stronger and you will notice they are starting to groom their wings. Their eyes are open much more as well. The parents have quite the job to keep up with feeding them throughout the day. This was a very hot and sunny day so luckily they are in a shaded bush. The amount of sun made filming difficult as the difference in light between the nest and outside the bush made for some overexposed spots. Please watch in 4K and enjoy!
