The town is known for its industrial heritage, particularly in textiles and engineering. The Huddersfield Narrow Canal runs through the town and is a popular attraction for boaters and walkers. The Victoria Tower on Castle Hill, a prominent landmark, was built in honor of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
Huddersfield is a town situated in West Yorkshire in the North of England. Places close by include Brighouse, Sowerby Bridge, Leeds, Manchester and Burnley. Huddersfield is a large market town and is actually in the borough of Kirklees.It's not far to the Pennines from here. It is a town that was a big mill town in the industrial revolution.
