I wanted to write this in in your collab gift but I guess I felt it needed the history. I wrote this on paper first, you know how slow of a typer I am (; Also included quotes and my interpretation of them.

When did we become such good friends? True, we first met a year ago today. You came to me with your copyright issues and I always wondered why of all people you asked me. (Yet, it was the first PM/email anyone ever sent me before.) Your writing skills impressed me right from the beginning; I could sense a personality between the lines and deep interest or longing to help. Its difficult to pinpoint the day or situation; how innocent and fragile it all began. All I know is I woke up one morning and noticed how important you had become in my life.

I treasure our talks and that emotional connection. We've gone through emotional highs n lows but our friendship is not threatened by either; it grows with both. You take the time to listen and understand my thoughts/feelings, offer concern. We've shared a mutual understanding on issues I could not even admit to myself first. Its like I finally let it out and admitted it. Thanks for encouraging me when I didn't have confidence in myself. Those pushes paid BIG dividends. Thank you for being loyal to me, for holding my secretes safe; I trust you implicitly. Loyalty rates high in my book (;

You lead me into this place, even breaking through my shy nature; opened the doors and saying "Look again". Teaching me new things, new words with your comments. (And even teaching me HOW to comment.) You show courtesy, you do not impose, you ask first, you stay late, n arrive early. You have a way of renewing my energy n enthusiasm for life! I love the little rituals and inside jokes we share! They weave our past together tightly and promise joy for tomorrow. Its not just the big that stand out. Like your most thoughtful B-day gift to me or our 1st mock trailer collab, and lengthy comments. It's the many, many small things that show how much you care. From being a teacher to stalking comments, or our Wed night ROB chat to going Jolene on one another, and your faithful n double replies even into the long nights.

Friendship satisfies a longing that no other relationship can match. I feel disconnected when I'm separated from close friends like you. I do not want to take you for granted. Thanks for being my eyes n ears on the world. I benefit from your interactions with others. Your network eventually became my network, your perspective, my perspective, and your friends, my friends :)

The most important thing we share is our faith. When either of us feels alone lets pledge to remind each other of God's love. I remember when we first shared our faith with one another in my Courageous vid. (It was short but I always remember you like Michael W. Smith ;) Our friendship has not happened by chance. God sent you into my life for a special purpose. Thanks for being His friend to me!
