Well......
After 8 years, the time has come. The trilogy is united. Its nothing I ever could of imagined, yet everything I ever hoped for and MORE!!! I cried, I laughed, and am still not over it. Toothless my boy has taken center stage this round, and its like a sensory-overload of Night + Light Fury FEELS for me!!! Eeek, I don't care what anyone says, shes a goddess and I loved her at first sight and will probably keep calling her Luna despite what Dean said cause its already stuck, lol!
I can't believe they went full circle with the Touch Scene to Stoick's Ship to him with a freakin beard!! All with THAT line playing. Dean Deblois is aiming for our hearts with this 3rd act people. *ouch*
My favorite part is torn between "Save him" with Hiccup dangling from Luna and her catching Toothless, and Toothless turning into the Unholy Offspring of Lightning and Death Itself. (I mean c'mon just when I think he can't top the Alpha he turns into a god. *screams)
It makes me so happy to see them focus so deeply on their bond, I will NEVER give him up" sent chills down my spine and is my favorite line.
I swear the realism of animation has been take up a notch. (Look at the texture on the leaves and leather? The reflections on their skin/armor? Doesn't the Hidden World remind you of the Land of the Dead design in Coco?) It never occurred to me that all of Berk might "disappear" with the Dragons...who knows?? Regardless, I trust Dean.
Okay and I just threw this together in about 5 hours last night. It clearly shows, lol. This song I swear is the most deceitful thing to time to beats for some reason. I did such a terrible job, not to mention them VOs. BUT 'm going to remake it so I can't worry about it. The original song I had planned to use I decided to wait on since the trailer is more a comical thriller and what I had was more.... I don't want to say dark, but on that deeper level. So plan B. I wanted to wait cause I have bigger plans with the full version of this song with the complete trilogy but for now here's the first draft. The trailer got short real quick when I got to the chorus, but it was a surreal feeling editing with all 3 films for the first time. I think it went well with it. Hope you enjoy!
Well, gotta go, can't get too in-depth but I will have another vid in a couple days with some news..... its completely different from this I'm afraid.
