Film Score and More | HTTYD Score: Romantic Flight (3m25 v1c) Instrumental Cover - Notion 6 @FilmScoreandMore | Uploaded July 2019 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Here’s another little HTTYD score experiment using the official score sheets and the sounds from Notion 6, originally recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra in Abbey Road Studios. This one is “Romantic Flight,” which is labeled 3m25 v1c in the score. I’m very happy with how this one turned out, and I really think it sounds great for just a software.
This piece is surprisingly heavy on the strings and I’ve had to create more duplicates of the strings than usual and used roughly twice as much as usual, which you can see below where I listed all the sounds I used.
This song may be just under two minutes but it took several days to put in. There’s just so much going on and it’s easy to overlook something or accidentally put in the same measure twice.
Below, I’ve provided a list of the instruments I used. There’s definitely more brass than I expected. The strings also split into additional staves to accommodate all the extra work they had to do.
Notion 6 Instruments Used:
Piccolo
Flute Duo
Oboe Duo
Solo Clarinet
Clarinet Duo
Bassoon Duo
Contrabassoon
3 Horn Sections

2 Bass Trombones

2 Soprano Choirs
Alto Choir
