Film Score and More | HTTYD Score Breakdown: Legend Has It/Cliffside Playtime @FilmScoreandMore | Uploaded May 2022 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
Legend Has It/Cliffside Playtime is an insightful and reflective cue from John Powell’s score for How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World that reprises old themes and sets up new ones.
I realize that Simba from the Lion King “just can’t wait to be king” and Hiccup doesn’t want to be chief, so technically HTTYD is more like Monty Python and the Holy Grail than the Lion King.
