This vid is a belated gift to a glorious friend: inhonoredglory for her Birthday. May I say first off I'm sincerely sorry I could not finish this in time for your B-day (Dec.26), but I'm not going to go into that just yet. What I want to say here is how special of a friend you are! I don't remember the exact day we met or if there was really. It felt more gradual, but the one thing I could not help but notice when HTTYD2014 lead me to you was your willingness to express your faith. I never told anyone about this (and here I am on a public YT description. *cough*) but anyway, I was going through a mentally challenging and depressing time in mid June-late July. I am not going to go into detail on that specifically, but I remember being quite intrigued with you; in the way you expressed God in your work and idk it REALLY hit me and helped me to genuinely put my trust in Him. Eventually the feeling passed and that was for sure my first real test, or one of those times teenagers have questions, or whatever it taught me a lesson that I will not forget. I always saw you as a part in it so Thank You!

Then I have observed and also been touched by your most generous nature in the way I've seen you offering your limited time to help or in giving (and not just to me) pictures and footage from HTTYD to ROTG! I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in that alone! (Over half of the footage in this vid came from you, Glory btw!) Plus your thoughtfulness to your friends on YT, and your highly active ones on Tumbler and I'm sure your friends in life (Ohh, and your sister of course!) Your an extremely gifted writer and artist and I am most honored to know you! (Plus being the youngest of the Circle here I probably look up to you some.) As time passes I've grown to trust you as a friend. (Mostly in the way I've seen you with other friends here :)

Now that that is said, I can dive into how so, So, SO, SORRY I am for not being able to complete this in time for your birthday!! *Oh I feel really bad about that, even though I tried* I have been working ferociously (Repeat: ferociously, as in 10 hour shifts Tuesday-Wednesday). By Thursday night I was completely burned out on it and decided it was time to just raise the white flag on myself. (Even though I was defeated at the stroke of 12:00 before; I was not ready to accept defeat then) But to STILL not finish this till two days (EDIT: well since the clock JUST stroke 12:00 again I guess I'm now 3 days late! Oh thats painful.) afterward is just inexcusable!! *My deepest apologies, Glory!* No hard feelings? These epic instrumentals take the most out of me; I don't remember when I started this but that's no excuse I know. Why I'm always late for Birthdays I'll never know! I can make anniversaries, holidays, any other special events, but not birthdays for some reason. I even missed HT94's B-day by one day! *Oh MAJOR face-palm*

Okay, and I hope (and by now pray) you like your gift too cause I know its not exactly your style,(With the in depth focus on Hiccup/Jack and their relations) and its obvious I STILL missed several timings! This score though is by far the MOST EPIC and spine-tingling piece I have ever heard! Right alongside my other FAVORITE score by TSFH ("Love and Loss") It just stirs up something inside me every time I hear it! (Especially when it hits 0:59- Ohh Gosh the chills!!) Something patriotic, noble or Heroic, to FIGHT, with a drive to win/survive and I believe you have that same deep respect for the past/present men and women who have/are fighting for our Country :)
For the ending though, I tried to retain that sort of slow, touching style with Hiccup & Toothless and Jack & Jamie. I know how much you ♥ ROTG and clips of it kept flashing in my mind with this score! I do hope it was worth the wait! (=
