This is my first time setting up and shooting the Hoyt RCRV Comp riser and limbs, and I was honestly surprised by the results.
✅ The limbs feel fantastic, I preferred them over the Hoyt Podiums which cost $100 more.
✅ For the price point, you’re getting solid performance, a reliable brand name, and hopefully the warranty/support that comes with Hoyt.
⚠️ However, it’s worth noting that these limbs and riser are manufactured overseas in China and white-labeled by multiple companies. At a similar price direct from those companies, you may get even higher performance, but without the long-term brand support.
Overall: This is a great “entry-mediate” setup. It’s not quite beginner gear, but not true high-end tournament equipment either. For archers looking for a bow they can grow with, without dropping $2,000+ on riser and limbs, the Hoyt RCRV Comp is a solid option.
