Continuing the Howdens paint-to-order kitchen installation, this video covers several important steps in the fitting process including preparing the worktop, installing the kitchen extractor, and trimming end panels on the island unit.

I also discuss a few practical considerations that are often overlooked when ordering and installing a kitchen. These include why it’s important to follow appliance installation instructions, why oiling a wooden worktop before installation is an essential protective step, and why it can be a good idea to order extra end panels when planning your kitchen.

Later in the video I move on to installing the kitchen extractor and continue with the island installation, explaining what components are included and how the finishing panels are trimmed and fitted.
