How Would YOU Design Path of Exile Royale?

Balance is high-impact but tricky and hard to get right.
I believe ideal balance is when players fight other players, win or lose, they believe the outcome was because of player skill (outplaying / getting outplayed), not because they were significantly out xp'd or out geared in advance.

With that in mind:
What immediate changes would you make for the next Path of Exile Royale weekend?
What long term design changes would you make?
Are there any specific problems you would like fixed?
And if you haven't tried Royale yet, are you planning too? Or are you waiting for some sort of incentive before starting.

4 simple & immediate changes I would make for the next Royale weekend are:
#1 Remove Molten Strike & Ele Hit
#2 Revert the Map Size
#3 Start the game with less players
#4 Add non-win based incentives

General Design Feedback

#1 Keep it Fresh
#2 A Random league mechanic each weekend
#3 Catch up Mechanics and possibly a Max Player level
#4 Map Size
#5 # of Players & Player Incentives other than Winning
#6 Custom Matches

Rapidfire Random Feedback & Ideas

#1 Change the Beach - Need an even distance to the cliff no matter the starting location, sometimes it takes 20s to get to the cliff, sometimes it takes 60-80s
#2 Map marker aimed toward the cliff
#3 Starting gem needs to be farther to allow looting with deviation from the optimal cliff path
#4 + Level of Gems needs to priority over Chrome Items - Why are Chrome Items Highlighted?
#5 Save Character Hotkeys
#6 Golem HP....
#7 Consider a fully Visible Map
#8 Old custom region queue for better ping
