How well did Joe Biden know, like and work with other United States presidents who held the office while he was in the Senate and while he was vice president. During the course of Biden's 44-year long career in national politics, eight different men served as president.

While he generally got a long with Democrats like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton better than Republicans, the nature of his relationships wasn't always along party lines. Biden had positive things to say about Republican President George W. Bush, and he had some run ins with Democratic President Barack Obama. And when it came to George H. W. Bush, Biden had mixed feelings - both positive and negative.

This video uses Joe Biden's 2007 memoir "Promises to Keep" as a source for his thoughts on former presidents while also using personal writings from other presidents such as Ronald Reagan.
