Amidst alot of commotion between feminists, anti feminists, the alt right, the left, and the people who fit themselves into these camps, one thing they all hold in common is the fundamental flaw of identity politics and tribalism. This video is a partial response to Chris Ray Gun, Dave Rubin, Shoe0nHead, and Stefan Molyneux, as they all make videos on topics of social issues and are political commentators. It seems to me that even smart people like them can fall into the trap of aligning with a party or focusing on distractions of right vs. left rather than real issues. The voice of reason in this case was Sam Harris, who's work I admire and who's podcast I frequently listen to.
