In the age of Tech companies merging with an encroaching surveillance state, the path to AI controlled society seems inevitable, and yet new movement has arisen out of the most unlikely of symbols. Clippy, the digital assistant pre-built into Microsoft Word, has become an icon of hope and a sign of unity amongst people fed up with tech giants and their abusive practices. We arrived at the scene at Austin City Hall where a group of Clippys gathered to make their voices heard.
