Today, we're going to set up the PP60 LED Pocket Pico Video Projector from Magnasonic.
This projector will display video, up to 60", from any HDMI source.
In the box, you will find:
The Projector
HDMI Cable
HDMI to Micro-HDMI adapter
Micro USB cable
Tripod
Protective bag
And quick start guide
To get started, connect to the projector to power with the Micro USB cable. We recommend doing this with a USB power brick, but you can also use any USB port that gives power, like the one on a laptop.
Charge the projector for about 3 to 5 hours, or until the LED goes from red to green. Then, you can unplug the projector, and enjoy approximately 2 hours of video and audio with battery power. When the battery is low, you will see a low battery message on the screen.
The HDMI input is on the back of the projector. You can use this input to connect anything with an HDMI connection, such as a Blu Ray player, DVD player, laptops, gaming consoles, streaming sticks, or a camera. In this video, we're using a laptop.
Other devices without an HDMI output, such as Apple phones or tablets, and SlimPort devices, will require adapters. For these devices and adapters, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
You can power on the projector using the on/off switch on the side. You may also have to adjust the focus. To do so, move the focus wheel until the picture is in focus. To increase or decrease the size of the video, move the projector further away, or closer, to the projection surface. When you do this, you will have to readjust the focus.
On the side of the projector are volume controls. The PP60 comes with a built-in speaker, but for more immersive sound, you can use the audio output on the back side to plug in headphones, or external speakers.
For ideal video quality, we suggest using a light coloured wall, preferably smooth, and watching in a dark room. You could also use a projection screen.
