You can stream and play your PS5 games on your Samsung phone using the PS Remote Play app by enabling Remote Play on your console, installing the app, connecting your PSN account, and optionally pairing a DualSense controller for the best experience
Step 1: Prepare Your PS5 Console
Turn on your PS5 and make sure it is updated to the latest system software.
Go to Settings System Remote Play and toggle Enable Remote Play to On
To allow Remote Play while in Rest Mode, go to Settings System Power Saving Features Available in Rest Mode and enable both Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS5 from Network
Step 2: Install the PS Remote Play App on Your Samsung Phone
Open the Google Play Store on your Samsung phone.
Search for PS Remote Play and install the app released by PlayStation Mobile Inc.
Launch the app after installation.
Step 3: Sign in and Configure Mobile Settings
Open the PS Remote Play app and sign in with the same PSN account used on your PS5
(Optional) To use mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, go to Settings Mobile Data Use Mobile Data and confirm
Keep in mind streaming with mobile data consumes a lot of data.
Step 4: Connect a Controller (Optional but Recommended)
For a better gameplay experience, pair your DualSense controller via Bluetooth: long-press PS + Create buttons until the light flashes.
On your Samsung phone, go to Bluetooth settings, select DualSense Wireless Controller, and pair it
Once paired, future connections will automatically reconnect when the controller and phone are powered on.
Step 5: Start Remote Play
Make sure your PS5 is turned on or in Rest Mode.
Open the PS Remote Play app and select your PS5 console from the device list
The PS5 screen will stream to your phone, and you can use touch controls or the paired controller to play
To reduce delay, ensure both devices are on 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or connect your PS5 via Ethernet to the router
For smoother streaming, set video quality to Priority Smoothness in the app settings.
