In episode number 146 of "GMRS For Dummies" I explain.. again.. How to connect your GMRS radio to a GMRS repeater - I explain, step by step how to get the repeater frequency, how to convert the repeater frequency to the correct GMRS channel, how to find the repeater "tones", I explain how the repeater tones work and finally, as if that was not enough, I explain in very simple language how to enter all of that information into your GMRS radio. Note: Many ham radios can be used to transmit over GMRS repeaters but in this video everything explained refers to ONLY GMRS radios. If you have a ham radio such as a Baofeng UV-5R (or any amateur radio), these steps will not work.
