I finally got a meshtastic device! My goal is to be able to communicate off-grid during SHTF with my best friend Josh, of Ham Radio Crash Course, about 30 miles away. Because most Meshtastic devices have to be assembled and flashed, and seem complicated, I got the Spec5 Trekker Bravo Meshtastic device because it comes fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box. As I learn what I can do with Meshtastic and as I learn how to use it, I will share my new Meshtastic wisdom with you in these videos. If you are new to Meshtastic or are just looking for some "Meshtastic for dummies" videos, then you are in the right place but if you are a Meshtastic expert or enjoy doing all the soldering and other radio-dork stuff, then this video is not for you.
