In this Pokémon Pokopia guide, I’ll show you how to unlock the Rock Smash move quickly by befriending Hitmonchan.
The Rock Smash move allows you to destroy certain blocks of terrain and clear blocked paths, making it an essential ability for exploring more areas in Pokémon Pokopia.
To learn Rock Smash, you first need to spawn Hitmonchan in the Exercise Resting Spot habitat. This habitat requires one punching bag and one seat of any kind.
You can find a punching bag inside the ruined house in the starting area. Pick it up and place it next to the wooden bench behind the ruin to create the habitat.
After a few minutes, Hitmonchan will appear. Talk to him to become friends, then speak to him again to receive his request. Hitmonchan will ask for two Stones. Give him the stones and he will teach you the Rock Smash move as a reward.
